Detroit Public Schools 92KB

The Detroit Public School District is plagued by old, neglected school buildings that have caused local residents to transfer their children into charter schools. In a capital improvement effort to attract residents back to the district, they sought to find a quick, turnkey developer to fulfill their aggressive time schedule and requirements. Workstage was awarded this project because of the ability to satisfy the school district's need for an intelligent building system

Liberty View Elementary 53KB

The first Kansas elementary school to include raised access floors in all classrooms, library and administrative offices, creating a more comfortable, cost-eefective and flexible environment for students and faculty, opened in August 2002. Raised access floors allowed the design team to take advantage of under floor air conditioning while gaining a modular wiring sysetm for a complete power, data, and video technology system.

Walter Payton College Prep High School 87KB

A Chicago prep school may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name Walter Payton; however, the 800-student, 162,000-square-foot educational facility named after the famous Chicago Bears running back is quickly gaining recognition as one of the most technologically sophisticated high schools in the country.
